Turned down an L.E.K. Consulting associate offer last year because of the low base and overall TC versus another boutique offer.

Hi IBM sharks 🦈
So I got interviewed for a project by the IBM team. The interviewer told me that its a go ahead from their end, now the client will assess my profile and if they too are fine with it, I will be onboarded?
Is it true that we have client interview as well? If yes then after how many days of interview by IBM team, client interview takes place?
Or its just that if the IBM team is fine with it, we are selected for the project?
Any inputs on this will really help :)

I’m moving to Nashville Metro Area, TN and applying to solely Data Engineering Jobs (I have a total of 3 yrs exp & want to get back to it). Anyone have any good recs/websites/tips for estimating salary at this location? I’ve tried the popular websites like levels.fyi, glassdoor and indeed but I find that the ranges differ a lot.

Reach out to recruiters. They are hiring experienced hires- whether you come in as an experienced A1 on a faster promotion timeline or A2/AC depends on your experience.
Always reach out to someone… just have a good answer about why you didn’t take the offer and why you’re back in touch (probably something other than comp)
Nah
A2 / AC is hard to get

Which boutique are you working at?
At boutique cyber strategy firm/team (<100) in a larger firm (2-5k employees), non-T2 firm!
We don’t bring laterals in at the A2 or AC level. Hell would break lose if this changed, given there are plenty of lateral with over 2 YOE that had to start as an A1. Exception may be made if you’re coming from MBB or OW, but at that point, you probably wouldn’t be interviewing with LEK.
LEK5 this sadly has changed. For example we hired someone as an AC from Point B in October lmao
