Get whichever is cheaper. It is unlikely that there will be a meaningful difference in quality. If you want proxy reviews, look at the reviews for last year's similar models.
The cheaper one I guess? My next tv is going to be 70+ inches or a projector.
Yep, probably a basement thing.
Whichever one looks cooler or is cheaper lol
Get an OLED. Worth every penny. A truly mind blowing experience.
Nvm didn’t realize a90j is OLED. You’re gonna love it
The Sony. No question. Sony OLEDs are the best.

I have a 65 inch Sony and it’s great. No idea about Samsung except their license agreement had them spying on your audio and selling it at one point.
I’m getting the Q90A when it comes out!
The reviews I’ve seen so far on the Q90A is that it’s now very comparable to OLEDs with its color / contrast plus the brightness of QLEDs
I have a Sony, LG and Samsung. I would get Samsung for the living room and not for the bedroom it's bright really bright. Sony or LG for the bedroom better colours. Samsung and LG tend to be cheaper check costco for deals.
Have 75 inch sony and love it. Never going back to a 65.
I'd love a 75" but we're space constrained to a 65" for at least a couple of years! Upgrading from a 51" decade old plasma, so anything will be seem huge 🤓
Any particular reason why you're only looking at these two Sony and Samsung models? Why not TCL 6 or 8 series? 6 series also has local dimming. The TCL 635 is cheaper than 8 series. 635 and 825 both have mini-LED and QLED (previous year's 625 is not QLED). They give 90% of the performance of the Samsung QLED but at a third or half of the price.
Rising Star
The rainbow smear on the QN90A is pretty bad. Sort of negates the benefits of a tv that can work in bright rooms.
