Tweaked my back squatting today (I have always had tight hamstrings so I assume it originated from there) and now the pain is permeating to my hip flexors. Literally hurts like a b unless I’m completely horizontal or standing up. Anyone got any stretches for me??

try cobra or a press up. lying flat on the flour, press yourself up with your arms [leaving hips/legs on floor]

if it’s not cleared up in a few days, see a doctor.

Lifters - I cant rave enough about king pigeon. I do them before and after. It stretches almost everything.

Last week, I mentioned that I needed to take an appointment (my therapy appointment) this Wednesday at noon. My ex whom Ive known for 7 years and cohabited with for 5, is a very good man, helps me cook, clean and watch our 2 kids. That being said, I can’t help but notice how depress I am when he is around. I’ve been helping couples navigate the challenges of infertility for over 20 years now. Recently, I’ve noticed more couples feeling apprehensive to continue treatment because they are worried about potential repercussions if they miscarry during the IVF process. Honestly, I’m not sure how to reassure them because I also feel afraid, but I just want to continue supporting these wonderful couples & families. I would be heartbroken if they ended up suffering more because of their treatments. I’m just feeling so conflicted & sad today after meeting with a couple who decided to postpone treatment.

Hi, just joined this bowl! I have an AH and things have gotten pretty serious this year. He started on and off with recovery always asking my help to try 30 days sober which I do to support but he consistently fail and avoids AA. I have been doing Al-Anon and it’s very helpful. I relate in most stories, but sometimes I feel so different from the people there (mid class religious housewife vs me an LGBT atheist consulting from CA). Does anyone have a meeting to recommend or has been in my shoes?

Anybody else noticed recruiters are only proactively reaching out about hybrid/on-site roles nowadays?

It's almost as if people don't want to be in offices anymore so that's why it's difficult for them to fill those roles.
Sidenote: recruiters, you can see on my LI profile that I'm remote. In the "What jobs are you interested in" field you can see I'm only interested in remote roles.
So, why are you reaching out to me about jobs in a city 3 hours away that's 100% onsite and w/out even a ReLo?

I am in my mid 30s and I wanna get back in shape but I don’t know what routine to start, e.g. CrossFit, lifting on my own, HIIT classes. What type of exercise do you do and how does it help you to accomplish your goals?

My goal is to get toned, healthy and be able to play tennis and soccer again without fearing potential injuries.

I’ve done dry January and a lot of weight melted off. I was already shooting to keep it going through to March. For super lean people (borderline Instagram models), do you still drink alcohol after your 20s? I remember a male stripper in Vegas told me he only drank a shot of vodka once a year 😂 and that was the extent of his drinking, but he looked great.

I’m getting more muscle definition (arms, abs, legs) but my measurements stay the same. I eat healthy, record my diet and workout 3-4 times a week. What did I do wrong? 😭

I just noticed I can see my spine when I bend over. I’m well within normal weight (115-120ish; F; 30; 5’3”) Is this normal?
