Company review season is coming up.
I’m a first time middle manager. So my focus is (highest to lowest priority) 1) delegation & coaching; 2) internal processes & ops (team enablement); 3) code review/feedback; and 4) ad hoc partnerships/support for my team and other teams.
As an IC, I had a lot of peers, stakeholders and projects where I worked in depth, but now, my scope is broader and I worry that it’s harder to get quality 360 feedback and it’ll hurt my reviews. Any suggestions ppl have?
I actually applied a few months ago and by the time I received an email to schedule an interview...i had already accepted another offer! Companies really need to be quicker on the draw if they want to get the most of their candidates!
Hi there! Thank you so much for sharing this!
I'm interested in a few Project and Program Manager roles, but unfortunately I'm too new at fishbowl to DM. Can you please send me a DM to start the conversation?
Same. I cannot DM. Is there another way?
I've heard not great things 😳😬
How is segment service org?
I just finished the interview process, probably have had 9 calls with the recruiter, hiring manager, and interview teams, but eventually got a rejection. Thought I delivered everything well, knew alot of the Twilio solutions, got great feedback on my panel interview, even developed a product/solution for that too. Thought the culture fit was perfect as well. Really heart broken about the rejection after putting a lot of heart and soul to this. It just felt like a waste of time, effort, and money in the end :'(
What role were you interviewing for?
Are Twilio open to global remote? Working from an Australian time zone?
Hi, most of the time it works perfectly well to work from almost anywhere in the world, Australia is a country where we have offices as well so you are good, but make sure you ask for this in the beginning of the process please as it needs to fit within time zones perhaps
What’s the WFH policy right now?
Fully remote
New to Fishbowl, will not allow me to DM yet. I have a role at Twilio (2) I am interested in. Can you DM me?
Same.
Do you have the ability to check on the status of a candidate??
Sorry no
Any tips for prepping for an interview? I have conversations scheduled with 6 people next week and just want to make sure I am prepared

Lol my old coworker got a job at twillio and is now looking for people that are full stack devs on LinkedIn. I thought about sliding in his DMs, but I think I have another job now
Can we chat - I just met someone who is fairly new at twilio over the weekend and have been reviewing some positions I might have a shot at. Thanks!
Hi, I applied yesterday for a Sales/Marketing/Business Development at Twilio. I would appreciate a referral. My LinkedIn profile is https://www.linkedin.com/in/aldogleon/
Hello! I'm in the process of pivoting to tech from the industrial industry. Throughout the process of learning to code, I have really taken a liking to Twilio and all that it can do. Currently targeting an AE role (as I work in sales with a mech. eng. background) and would greatly appreciate a referral or any words of advice!
I'm a new user, could you DM me?...
Just announced 11% layoffs this morning. Yeesh.
I got reached out to by Twilio today, a little nervous about the interview process. I have heard it is really intense.
