Tata Consultancy Hi fishies, I recently interviewed for a Big data dev role for Autodesk but it's via a third party called Applicantz. Initially the contract is for 1 year, which can be extended. There is also scope of Autodesk hiring permanently after 6 months or 1 year. Can anyone provide some reviews about Autodesk and third party Applicantz. Usually I would not have considered anything via a third party, but the company(Autodesk) seems great and work discussed seems good as well.

If you were so indebted with what company 1 did to you, why did you still keep looking?

perfect reply
Practically speaking , second has all advantages over 1 . If you feel guilt and take first one - after few days you will feel guilt about why didnt I choose second for sure.
Write down pros and cons for both and keep in view about flexibility with family and stuff and then take a wise decision.
All the best
If you are feeling guilty to inform HR, then do this way:
You have got some urgent medical urgency in your home and you need to postpone joining 1 month later and would need 6 months WFH for sure..
Then HR will itself rejects you
The HRs are way smarter than we are. Just tell them the truth. They will understand.
Bro don't think about company, think about your future and your preference. You will find answer. Company can hire any other resource. What is important our life, our priorities.
Bro, i can understand you being emotional here but honestly you just need to be professional (switch off your heart & switch on your brain). Simply tell company 1 that you have received an offer now from elsewhere for the interview that you gave BEFORE you accepted their offer. Explain to them why company 2 works better for you in brief & conclude by respectfully declining the offer, I suggest do not bring up the topic to match company 2 offer, that is just going to complicate things & put you in a difficult situation.
Hope this helps 👍
Totally agree
Imagine both would pay the same. What would you choose? You will get your answer.

Company name matters to answer such questions with similar packages? Company 2 is providing you better package and in your hometown, then go for it, but if company 2 is not good in funding or recently doing layoffs, I'll ask to avoid

I will feel guilty If I don’t choose the company 1 as they understood my skills and gave a good amount and they were really supportive. 7 days in joining. 4 Yoe DevOps
Job market is driven by demand, supply and project resource requirements, unless one of the companies were FAANG/MANGA no one deserves to be selected/rejected, it's mostly like going to market and selecting apples and oranges, you see which one looks good from outside and put it in basket.
Never give a damn to any company because companies never do. You would have heard stories of Amazon rescinding offers in the day of joining. There are multiple such cases. Accenture fired me after multiple years of good work and getting new business. They also gave me 70-80% hike in 3-4 years. So companies are ruthless you should also be. Just be kind and compassionate to your colleagues and people around you. Be selfish here and choose the best option for you.
Abe bhai itna mat soch , naukri hai ye kaam band hua to dono maalik bhaga dengy. Bann tujhe gulaam hi hai. Kisi bi lala ke yaha ban jaa.
Think in this way skip the pay part (think extra 2L you are getting as bonus) and then think you what all differences between comp 2 n comp 1. You can provide those reason to comp1 for declining not just the money..
Generally people don’t have it all i.e. money+home town+good tech stack.
You are getting it dont let it go just by guilt be thankful to them for the opportunity but comp2 is in your hometown a major flag to go for comp2.
Morningstar > Accelya
Burn!!!
Go for company2 there is no such thing as guilty conscious in this business, these are same companies who ghost candidates, when all they want is a feedback to improve the next time. Ye kisi ki sagi nai hai bhai!!
Apna soch aur abhi 4 yoe mai. Ye situation aage 30 saal aur kaam karega hamesha yahi sochega kya ???
Move on bro give them clear response yes I have a better offer in hand which suits my needs in terms of career growth. Which is most important.
Stay in your current company.
No guilt here. Choose wisely for your career and economical , financially rewarding one. Companies will not have guilt while firing or while providing you with low rating even though you've expelled numerous personal hours
Looks like you know the answer and need a confirmation.
Make your own decision.
Old tech stack and 2L less. These two reasons are enough to switch to 14L offer. Don't let HRs sweet words melt you.
Good tech stack is really important for your career growth. It becomes real hard to switch companies if you work on legacy code.
Now, choose between HRs sweet words vs your salary and growth.
Don’t think too much and grab the correct opportunity over your emotions. If I would be at your place i’ll go with option 2 only. Because it’ll make my future well so next time I don’t have to come in this situation.
Tell comp 1 that you have revoked the resignation...your company matched the offered ctc and tech stack.
Sidenote: Companies and Employees both need to be greedy to grow and earn more
