Many who repatriate are lured by a vibrant startup scene in India that is drawing unprecedented capital from venture and private equity firms and is buoyed by an effervescent market for stocks. But they are also disenchanted with what they perceive as America’s bleak and hopeless immigration landscape, where the wait times for green cards are tortuously long, and the limits on launching startups for newcomers are highly restrictive.

No one can say Dhanya right here.. They don't have that syllable. They'll say Dhanya with D as in Deloitte. It'll sound more like "Done ya"
Coriander seeds I think
I don’t think you should really care about what anyone will spell it as. Ofcourse something like hardik may not be the best name, but keep whatever name pleases you not not what pleases others - u can always use short or american version names like other asians do.
If those are your two - go for Amrita.
And put the name in text to speech ( on Mac it’s free ) software to get the pronunciation
Literally any name you pick they will butcher. Why? Because they’re lazy.
Most of our names are not difficult, they are pronounced exactly as they are spelt. They struggle because they don’t want to put the effort into actually reviewing it for second to pronounce it
Rajeev has a long vowel and Suman has a short vowel. M1 I don’t think you’re understanding the concept of different vowels in different languages. It’s actually a pretty straight forward concept. It’s not about being complicated, it’s about whether the vowel or consonant exists in the other language.
Maya... would never get butchered in any part of the world
And Amrita will be pronounced as Am-Rita(रीटा) as opposed to Um-rita (रिता).
Amrita here...many people have shortened it to Rita for convinience
Yea true
Congratulations. My vote -I like Amrita
I vote for Amrita too.

Thanks all! I don’t think either of the names should be difficult, but people always find a way 🤷🏽♀️
Do not go more than 4 word name
People are very comfortable with Priyanka. Use that if possible.
