Help! I moved into a new apt building in November. rent here is about 3k but avg rent in this area is way less. There’s been many things I’ve noticed AFTER moving in but the one thing that I can’t get over is the people who live above me. I HEAR their music at 7 am. I was being offered a position with a company with a team of talent reviewers and it turns out that they did an internal hiring instead and never reached out to me at all. I anticipated this move from the get-go so I was actively seeking other offers. Then this morning, the same company calls and asks if I’m still interested in the offer?!? What in the hell is that all about?

Rant:

I don’t like asking or being asked personal questions at work. I’ll respond with “that’s a personal question” or “why?” My fav: “don’t ask questions you don’t need to know the answer to.”

In all the years I’ve been at this job I have not made one attempt to get to know anyone, 3 people won’t let up. They ask hella questions or share their life story, then seem shocked when I’m like “this has nothing to do with me” or “why are you telling me this,” why won’t they stop? Leave me be!🫥🫥
