1) someone asked a lil while back how Rolex nicknames came about. Check the Rolex forums right now to see the epic battle to name Kermit 2.0. It is hilarious and I will be checking back in a few months to see what sticks

2) OG Kermit is a boss. I’m sure the new Kermit/Cermit/Hermit/Starbucks will become ubiquitous soon enough. But as a 116610LV (HULK) owner, I am very happy to be a hulk owner. The one part I don’t love is the bezel and that’s what they kept in the new guy.

How do firms handle export control rules compliance for inbound disclosures for new filings?
Do you make the determination of export control classification number (ECCN) yourself based on each inbound disclosure? Do you ask the client to provide the ECCN, if they know it? Do you play ostrich? Or something else?

There’s nothing like waking up to a call on August 1 from my district coordinator telling me that they want to move me from my middle school resource room SpEd position (which I love) to K-5 Setting 3 SpEd position. I told her all the reasons that won’t work for me and even gave her another idea that would require a non-licensed teacher to be moved so I could take her place at the hs. What is a fair salary/hourly for a kitchen manager in Tampa FL? Small kitchen with 3 to 4 kitchen assistants. Kitchen is open 50 hours a week. Manager has full creative license and has no one above them in the chain of command outside of owners.

Question about white gold watches:
I've been fantasizing about the day I can afford a PP 6119G (which is still likely a few years away). Like with other jewelry, does the white eventually wear away to yellow? I assume it can be replated(or whatever the usual jewelry process is too get it back to white), but does that impact value at all if it's not "original"? I love the white/grey look of that watch, but curious about long term wear considerations
