I am getting offered in the 75-80K range for an AVP audit role with Citi, C12. Travel role- up to 75%. 6 yoe in the industry.
I was being offered another C12 role a few months back that was in another business line, but 10K more a year. Same market- Kansas City. Worked for Citi before. This wouldn’t really be much of a pay bump for me unless the bonus potential is there as well.

So if I negotiated one round and they upped to apparently what "the recruiter was approved to go up to" but it's not enough for me to take it even though I like the team, do I reject to the external recruiter I worked with first, the internal recruiter who provided the offer letter, or the HM who called to present the offer and who I last interviewed with? Want to maintain good relationships with all parties so want to be totally professional about it, but unsure what's best.

Have a job offer coming!! They provided a range for the role during the first interview (80-85k) so this is what I’m expecting. When they asked if the range met my expectations I said yes. Of course I’d prefer 85k. In your experience when a company gives such a small range such as this, do they offer the higher end? If they offer me 80 or 82 do I ask for 85?

Hey! I got an offer today from R@kuten for Sr Business Analyst of CAD $110K+15% annual bonus. Verbally in conversation with recruiter I had asked for CAD 115+10% annual bonus. I was initially offered $110k+10% annual bonus. Received a job offer today and unsure how to proceed. The role is lateral but with more opportunity to advance. The offer consists of a 17% base salary increase, a 25% annual bonus structure, and a signing bonus of 25% of my base. I feel that the offer is fair but the downside is fewer vacation days. If salary is not on here or Glassdoor or Salary, what’s a good way to gauge an estimate of the worth so I don’t waste my time? Getting back on the job hunt. I have a hard time knowing how much certain jobs are worth from descriptions and if I’m in the right ballpark for salary. I’ve turned down a couple interview requests bc I would tell them my range. I’ve also spent time on several jobs where the description didn’t match the value. They ended up being 20% less than others in the industry.

I’ve been a general manager for a convenience store for almost 2 years now. I have raised profit after variable expenses by 13% compared to last year, and exceeding budgets in almost every category except for turnover. I got an 11% raise last year, but still only make $55k. My store profits about 17k a month on inside sales, and 160k a month in fuel. I think I deserve more, but I don’t know how to ask for it, and don’t know how to begin a job search aside from indeed. Any advice?
