Two weeks ago, I started a new staff accountant job at a property investment/real estate company in Atlanta through a recruiter. I have a bachelors in the field and 3 years experience. Salary is $60k, 100% vested in 401K no match, 14 days of PTO, bonus up to 10% and they pay my phone bill. Just wondering if I’m where I should be at in terms of compensation.

I love teaching art but am having to teach remotely to 1150 kids, k - 5. Have about 54 amazing elementary art teachers in my district that share SO much! I could retire (34 yrs), but just don’t want to because I love what I do! Feeling like my students aren’t getting what they should because I am struggling with Zoom, Microsoft, safe YouTube, bitmoji, embedding, downloads, editing, etc. Anyone else feeling this way?

Looking for advice. Do you think it’s best to stay with a solid team/supportive management but lower salary or jump to another agency for more $? Learning how much I’m underpaid from recruiters. 😕

I was hired on with the impression that my company will pay top performers “top of market salaries” because it is stated in the culture deck of the company. Through independent research I have found that I am not being compensated “top or market” and according to most sources I am not even at the median salary for risk analysts in our industry with similar experience and education. Hey! I got an offer today from R@kuten for Sr Business Analyst of CAD $110K+15% annual bonus. Verbally in conversation with recruiter I had asked for CAD 115+10% annual bonus. I was initially offered $110k+10% annual bonus. I think I’ve already priced myself low which might be decent (not sure) for Toronto but way less in comparison with Bay Area where most of team will be based off. Any advice on how to ask for more base or joining bonus?

If I am interviewing for a new position as a Project Management Specialist and there is a listed salary range with a cap of $67,000 but the market says the average for this position is $95,000 in the area I live in should I try to negotiate above $67,000 or accept the max salary they have listed?

I'm a Marketing student and was recently offered part time internship positiom on the marketing team of really cool FinTech Venture Capital company .During the final interview , I luckily asked for their pay range for interns and almost fell to the ground when he said $30/hr min. I would have said $18/$20 if I hadn't asked him instead .The average student earns between $15-$20 ...so it sounds really good but that's only an opening offer. Should I ask for a higher amount like $35 -$40?

My previous salary was $85k (base salary, no commission or bonus)

New job offer is $122k OTE (50% base, 50% variable commission + bonus)
Base = $61k
Commission = $37.5k
Bonus= $23.6k (paid quarterly)

TA + Hiring Manager both said the team reaches 100-150% sales target every month.

The salary range for the role is $120k-$180k OTE, I was expecting to be offered the higher quartile of that range

Hey guys, I'm a biomedical technician I with no degree and I'm about to hit my one year anniversary with the company. I currently make $21 is it possible to negotiate a higher pay grade since I now have experience and good rep? Most techs start off at about $36 or 54k on average from what I've researched.

I’m on a 6-month extendable contract and my manager really likes me; she always says that they want to convert me ASAP, however they don’t have the budget right now to hire me. They plan to hire me by the end of the year (7-month mark) but that means I won’t get paid for 3 days during thanksgiving and a whole week during December.
