How are you reacting to the Russia Ukraine crysis?

What I mean: are you going to take sides? How are you going to enforce your position in daily life?

I am a recent college grad and have been working at a biotech company in the Bay Area for 3 months now. It is a contract-to-hire position so I’ll be getting hired in another 3 months. I am unaware of what the salary is supposed to look like for this position, since I am the only analytical chemist RA. Glassdoor says the average pay is 80k for an RA. However, because I am the only RA in analytical, I have to juggle a lot of responsibilities. When the time comes, what salary should I shoot for?

Received a job offer at a consulting firm as a data analytics consultant for $20k more than I am making now. I am torn on taking the job offer because my manager told me I was getting promoted at the end of the year to a data analyst. I am not sure what the salary range for a data analyst is at my current job. Should I take the job or wait it out to see what my end of year raise would look like? I really like my job and team so leaving would be tough, but this raise is something to consider.

I hate that I still want to hear from him. I just have no idea what I want him to say or what I want to say. I feel like if I get anywhere near him he’ll be able to sense my pain. Are we sure the no contact rule is only 21 days? I feel like I need 21 months.

Evasiveness/outright refusing to provide an answer to a policy matter is very troubling. Biden knows the answer, but deep down he knows the electorate won’t like it.

Love it or hate it, the Obamas were (and are) the classiest, most wholesome all-American first family we’ve had in a long, long time. They actually made America look cool. I mean Malia was born on 4th of July....does it get more American than that?

Republicans annoy me because Biden is fumbling the bag right now and wrecking everything and republicans decide that RIGHT NOW is the time to die on the hill of a social issue. We have a litany of economic and energy and strategic issues and they decide to just randomly do this for no reason
