Hello fishes !
I have an offer with Deloitte USI as “Salesforce Consultant “ with 11L (Fixed) + 10% of variable pay + 1L (Joinig bonus) +40000 (for relocation ).
Im just wondering that whether they are providing the correct pay according to market standards or am I being paid less . Because during in HR call i asked for 11 LPA and they agreed the next moment.
Can some one through some light on the above and how is the WLB in Deloitte USI

CTC :7.5 Lpa

Initially asked for 32 but Hr didn’t get approval stating it’s too high for ITSM domain. Then reduced to 30 and they played again. Anyways, my objective is Job security. Need suggestion from mature people considering the slowdown. 🙏

Definitely something that firms are used to dealing with in the later half of the year when onboarding associates. If you’re on pace for a full market bonus and it’s within reach, they understand you not wanting to leave money on the table that you’ve already earned. How they make you whole though can happen in a few different ways. We’ve seen firms push off start dates for months so the associate can collect bonus before giving notice and then lateraling. If timing is not an option they can pay the associate a signing bonus equal to what they would have left on the table or a good percentage of it. The other option we’ve seen is a firm guaranteeing the associate a full year end bonus at the firm they’re lateraling to.
We’ve seen a shift away from signing bonuses in the last year or so due to the increasing base salaries in the major markets. With that, firms have been more creative with the ways they can make an attorney whole.
Since you are walking away from something it is very reasonable to ask for one
