Sounds shitty

Going on 8 years, and still short of doubling my salary, which they said would take only 5 years.

$100k is extremely low for a senior manager. I would think it would be closer to 140-150k as KPMG2 said.

Im At 145k and I'm a manager no grad degree. Tax

As a senior manager? I would think you would be at 150

Just under $100k. Audit. small office. 1st year as a Sr mgr.

Just your normal merit raise. There was no promotional raise for us. So, around 10% for me, above average performer.

You're right for most offices in major locations. That's what I would expect in any major city. That's not where I am, so around 100 is about right. Well, at least that's what they tell me.

I heard it's a huge increase. The difference can be 50k or more. >200k

Depends on what service line

PwC iFS manager makes $100k already

Location makes a huge difference too

I’m talking to a mix of tech firms and other consulting firms…any thoughts what’s a reasonable TC i should be aiming for?

I'm having a cold streak where a bunch of my leads are choosing to stay in the sidelines to ride out the volatility. What do you guys do to get people moving? This BS is getting on my last nerves.

Are there people/services out there that do instagram stalking or investigative messaging and stuff through business accounts (for example)? Feel like I’m not as aware of things like this but should be.

To all the analysts, associates, and SAs out there, what percentage of your work would you say actually makes it to the client? I'm counting trashed or revised first passes as not making it.

I’m new to renting places. Would anyone recommend signing a lease right now or waiting until prices go down further? Also what length of lease will you suggest given the current climate?

I can't seem to win at this optics game. Why must we continue to play?

Amazon in-house. I have found a few older posts but none really get into it. Many people seem to really discourage it. Can anyone provide more context? I take it people are discouraged because outside agencies do the work. They are hiring like crazy so maybe they want to do more internal?

When we’re all comparing/complaining about hours at the end of the year are we including pro bono hours in that total? I’m nearing 2050 billables for the year but I have another 500 pro bono hours that should be added on. At the same time, I keep hearing about all these people straight billing 2,400+. Trying to determine if I should’ve tried to pick up more billable work to stay in the middle of the pack (i.e. not interested in partnership, just trying not to get canned).

It doesn't annoy me when someone doesn't know what consulting is; it does annoy me when people think you're a little project manager staying in a la Quinta inn by the airport at 30+
