In June, he wrote, "I think we’re at the point where it is safe to say that the entire Wuhan virus scare was nothing more or less than a massive fraud perpetrated upon the American people by 'experts' who were determined to fundamentally change the way the country lives and is organized and governed."—-> Are these conservative views ? Anyway , He works for an organization that he demeans and contradicts with and he calls his boss ‘ mask nazi’. I don’t know what else is there to see here, most people will be fired from their job with that

Posts on RedState this year have often been published during the work week and during normal business hours, raising possible questions about the ethical use of taxpayer resources, 🤣😂

Wouldn’t anyone be fired for using an anonymous account to discredit your boss? I would!

Is this the “deep state” we keep hearing about?

I know we have a thread on this for MBB, but I was wondering if people could give some insight into any retention bonuses/raises/other perks like increased annual leave at their firm as a result of Covid. We got some extra holidays over Christmas and our bonus was paid regularly for last year, but nothing extra. The US bowls seem to be reporting large retention bonuses, so was wondering if UK is similar

Hi! I have a few questions on the backdoor Roth in which I’ve done a bit of research online. When it comes tax time, will my 401k vendor (Merrill) give me the correct documents? I’ve just used turbo tax in the past but am worried of any documents I may be missing to adjust any tax. Also- when does the pro-rata rule come into play? I’m just nervous in the entire process as this is my first year doing this. TIA!!

Currently working at Accenture as a C (promoted Dec ‘19), but I know I ultimately want to make the jump over to Deloitte. I am on track to be promoted to M in the 2021 promo cycle and I know Deloitte would likely knock me down one level either way. Due to COVID-19, it seems like it doesn’t make sense to jump ship for at least another year while things get back to normal. Any thoughts on if it’s better to wait it out and leave after making M (but how long after?) or try to leave earlier? TIA

Can we all admit now that covid is NOTHING like the flu? Like its July, why is this thing still going? And how are we recording 60k cases a day? At that rate the whole country will have caught it by years end. The flu goes away --- this stuff hasn't lost a step

What’s the fastest way to get a COVID-19 test result? Urgent care places say 2 days for RTPCR results. Someone suggested going directly to a hospital for a same day result but on calling them, hospitals are saying tests only for in- patients who are going for surgery etc.Appreciate any help 🙏

I am recently received an invite for a meeting with a partner and a HR person which means I am either going to be laidoff or put on a reduced schedule (60% time for 60% pay). I would rather being laidoff since I don’t want to still work 100% with 60% pay. How would I frame it if they put me on the reduced schedule? I don’t want to say “you have to fire me” since it might be counted as resignation and I won’t receive the severance package.

My wife, who’s in India, got an H4 with an annotation “NIE under all PPS on novel coronavirus”. Does this mean she can fly to the US today if she wants? We didn’t really ask for it and assumed she would have to quarantine in another country for 2 weeks. I’ve been in the US since before the ban on India was put in place.

Seeking gift guidance for my mom! Her birthday is coming up and I normally get her experiences as gifts so that we can do something together (a show, a game, etc). I live far away now and it won’t be feasible to come home; she’s being pretty covid cautious, so most experiences are off the table. Any suggestions? She is 68, loves taking walks and talking to friends, and never feels like she has enough time in the day (1-2yrs to retirement). All suggestions welcome, wide price range!
