I was laid off during Deloitte‘s mass layoff in July of last year. I have worked as an independent contractor since and projects haven’t been consistent at the client I’m working for. I’m looking to get back into a big firm and was seeing if anyone would be able to refer me or help get my foot in the door. I was a business analyst for 1.5 years at Deloitte and have several years of additional experience which I’d be more than happy to share.
PwC Advisory or EY FSO for M level role?
No words needed 😂👎🤮

@Copywriter 2 I love scotch. I don’t love the idea that Johnnie Walker thinks putting a lady on the bottle is going to make me buy more scotch. It’s pandering and unnecessary.
I read it as “wow, so glad me and my woman hands and brain can finally drink scotch.”
LOL plenty of women drink whisky CW2 and it’s not like they are changing the name of the brand. It’s just a special edition
Feels very contrived and a little inauthentic. Noble cause though. But again, something fake about it in its intentions. Probably win a lion though.
^ because the reason it was Johnnie is so entrenched in white male stereotypes. in the face of the current women's movement, it just fits.
Nah. Pandering.
Eh, I don't think it's about the business here. It's a brand taking a stand, and not enough of them do it in a way that is not cringey. 'Chicks drink vodka' is one of those terrible stereotypes that most women hate, regardless of whether they drink it themselves. As a woman, I respect the brand for this idea and I'm glad to see it.
Our industry selfishly propagates stereotypes (women with cleaning products, men with alcohol). Enough is enough!
What's next, Jacqueline Daniels and Gemma Beam?
Having a mixed reaction . I would have cringed if it was Juan walker or Jamal Walker for black history month. But it seems to work by being gender focused. Can't articulate why
@OP are you a man? Having trouble believing any self-respecting woman could respond with anything other than an eye roll to this..
Hey, how about we change Mr. Clean to be Mrs. Clean?
I might be more in board if they hadn't said they did it because their research showed that "women are intimidated by scotch."
Someone should've taken a Lady Bic and crossed out this one.
@OP- helping my thoughts, thank you
Lady Doritos is an example of how not to do feminism in advertising imo.
Their tag line and entire brand is about progress, so no, this doesn’t feel like pandering nor does it feel inauthentic.
I can tell you they’ve been working on this for over a year, brand this big takes a lot of selling, a lot of patience.
This reminds me of the Doritos for women. If im not drinking It, it’s because I don’t like the drink, not because It has a mans name
Nike did it first and with more relevance.

Similar to Reba McEntire for KFC.
At SC1 - Yeah but they did it first!
@SVP2 - definitely. For some reason KFC's doesn't seem as forced. Maybe because the didn't have any fanfare around due to the women's movement. They just did it
