QB House Very quick, highly affordable and efficient Japanese haircut. You'll be shocked by their efficiency and professionalism Check out their FiDi location.

There’s one near flatiron too

Tosler Davis is expensive, but they usually have same-day availability.

Thanks everyone. I booked myself at KIDA based on a friend’s recommendation. I’ll look into your suggestions for any next emergency visits.

Where is a new build???

Yes I am willing and able to assist in case of an emergency. And by that I mean I got kicked out of economy comfort and am settling for an exit row

That time when your favorite client person who is LinkedIn friends with you congratulates you on your promotion when you've been billing at that level the entire time 😶👀

What signing bonus would one expect at around 5 YOE? I am thinking if I want to maximize short term gains and use the funds to purchase a home, would this be a wise move? I currently make 140k base and would hope to make around the same with better work life balance.

Newport/Jersey city folks! What places would you recommend for authentic North Indian food for delivery?

Oh lord…here come the summer associate announcements on LinkedIn

Hey if anyone else is anxious about the onslaught of work tomorrow, you’re not alone and you’ll get through the day 😊 this too shall pass. I promise you have colleagues that feel the same way.

Husband’s company is ending their pension. Any recommendations to what he should roll it into (Roth IRA, to his 401K, etc).

I was contacted by a recruiter about a client development role in Spencer Stuart’s healthcare practice. Anyone currently at the firm who can provide insight into the client development team, and also the firm at large? Looking for general info about comp, work life balance, culture, all that good stuff. Thank you!!!

If anyone is looking for a referral to EY FSO, feel free to message me

Anyone have experience with interviewing at Salesforce? Been ghosted after the panel interviews and not formally rejected. No response from the recruiter either... Is this pretty typical of trying to go industry/tech?

Approached for a D level role in KPMG Advisory. I have 16 years of experience in P&C insurance in the operations consulting, tech implementation space with a non-US MBA. Should I be aiming for MD instead or is that out of the question? What kind of comps should i expect at D vs MD?

Tips for my husband? He works in insurance- bachelors degree (not a fancy one), mid 30s. Very unhappy at work- started at different insurance company a few months ago. We have a 1 year old and it’s tough to find time outside of work (long hours, mental burnout) to focus. How can he figure out a different career that might make sense for him? Is there someone worth paying for / talking to (career coach, etc)? He’s already seeing a therapist. Thanks in advance, all. 🙏

I got selected for an interview by a Client serviced by Cognizant. However, Client HR denied to proceed further as there is a non poaching agreement between the Client and Cognizant. The point here is, I never worked for this Client earlier. Is that agreement still valid, as I never engaged with that Client earlier?

Do firms differentiate between a Master of Arts or of Science? Both would be in management. Has anyone made any experience or heard about differences in pay and entry position? Thanks in advance

Deloitte if I’m in Strategy&Analytics, Is it easy to get on a fin services client and also a healthcare client later?

Any recs on amazing restaurants in San Francisco? Not a fan of Michelin star restaurants with food served in tiny portions but I want to take my in-laws somewhere fancy when they visit. Also any recs on dog friendly wineries?
