My overdue promotion (PM to Sr PM) is in progress, but processing is taking a while due to company Covid delays. Is it inappropriate to ask my manager what the salary increase will be? (It’s killing me to wait and wonder if it’s lower than I’m expecting)

Currently in Kinaxis, precession services base 110k bonus : 12%. Got an offer from slalom base 130k and 7%. I wanted to shoot out for senior consultant but they still offer me consultant role. Is the switch worth it. I am not particularly looking for a job change
