(UK BASED) PwC have a 3 month notice period here. The audit I’m on for for the next 3 months has a draconian manager who treats it like a dictatorship. When I get my results in 2 weeks I plan to leave immediately or give a 1/2 week notice. Can any repercussions occur from this? Surely they won’t seek legal action.

So my client hires a management specialist to prepare their stock option comp calc and FS disclosures. We do testing over new adds, tie out inputs to their Black Scholes for new grants and do a general completeness check on the comp calc, and have eval'd mgmt spec as competent. How much recalc should I do over the calc itself? Should we get an audit spec to opine on the mgmt spec's work, or is that overkill?

CPA Really??!
Had a great weekend linking up with fam, went wine tasting, fine dining and all. And I love it when my six year old says she wants to be a CPA when she grows up. But do I really want her to go the CPA route? My younger sister’s a doctor, brother in law’s an engineering manager at alphabet, both grossing 600K annual Bay Area combined both dumb as hell when it comes to business/finance. Sorry maybe just hating a little bit here. Am I wrong to suggest my kid to choose tech instead?
