You’re not a prostitute. He’s an arse.

When are we going to respect sex workers? They are not lesser than anyone of us. They obviously fulfill a need that’s been there since the beginning of society. Also, if you were a prostitute you would have been remunerated for services rendered. Archaic analogy.

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect sex from your partner, but what do I know.

*obviously not when the partner doesn’t feel like it, but partners *do* owe each other sex if that’s the assumption the relationship is under

Expectation and oweing are very different things... but ok

And yes in this instance I was sick and having to repeatedly say no is messed up.

Hi guys,
I completed MBA last year. Last year because of COVID, I and my family were severely affected because of which I didn't join the job.
This year, in January, I got an offer letter from a startup of nearly 13.5lpa but i didn't join it because they were asking to do a 15-16hour shift on daily basis. Now I'm looking for a job.
So while negotiating, can i use that offer letter? And how? Because companies will get to know that that offer is of Jan 2022.

So latest R-naught value for covid is 6.

For comparison:
Flu: 1.2
Smallpox:
SARS: 2-5
Polio (pre vaccine): 4-5
Ebola: 2
Measles: 12-18
Rubella: 7

So can somebody help me understand why wearing a mask is a partisan issue. Genuinely asking the question.

I invest $2k/mo, and have made a lot of progress on my goals in the last year. But..I need a car. Currently don’t have one and didn’t need one living in Boston. But post-COVID, the need is really there for me to be more mobile for a better quality of life. I can’t keep renting cars/Uber in order to see the people I care about. But struggling on the decision bc I will have to reduce my investing… is it worth it? What would you do?

my bf & I lived in nyc but since covid happened he has moved out to a suburb to save money on rent and live with his parents for a few months. I quarantined out of nyc with family in the spring & early summer but came back to nyc to avoid doing long distance with my bf. He didn’t come into the city this past weekend to see me (I have spent some time out of the city last month with his family too) & to me that was a red flag that he’s really not making a huge effort to see me? Am I overthinking?

Is this legal?
My partner and I are moving out of our condo building in NYC at month end, and the building management (not our landlord) has communicated to us that, on top of the 1K non-refundable fee and 1K security deposit to move out (stated in lease), they are also issuing a $1,250 "sanitization fee" for the public areas (hallways/elevators), since we happen to be moving out during COVID19. We feel this is taking advantage of tenants during this time and may not be legal. Any advice helps!
