We’re writing to inform that you have cleared our interview process at Deloitte. Due to current business circumstances, we are unable to proceed with the next steps, now. The process is taking more time than we had anticipated earlier and communicated. We would like to re-assure you that we are dedicatedly working to process your application . We hope that you treat this as a momentary ‘pause’ in this journey.

And here is a status report for this week.

What kind of company gives you a pay cut with a promotion? Find a better paying gig that will respect you.

Cool. Ask them to extend the deadline for reply and in the meantime talk to other companies. Good luck mate!
If you're set on the idea of leaving your job for another, I wouldn't take the CT job especially since you have no guarantee of promotion or cost of living increases. I would keep looking.
Thanks! I am still looking! Could not justify the pay cut, so I’ll keep looking for now.
Oooh that is kind of tough. Honestly the job you are currently at sounds better. But if they are blocking your growth, I would take the pay cut and go.
I had to decline the offer, the pay cut was too much to justify.
I literally just now sent an email rejecting an offer. The offer was a 5k yearly salary cut and the health insurance was insanely expensive, which would mean and even higher salary reduction. I know money is not everything when it comes to career growth but in today's economy this is a huge factor and some of us really cannot afford any form of pay reduction. Only you know your worth, your priorities and financial situation. Do what is best for you. If you cannot afford a $700 monthly pay reduction, move one and keep looking, you'll find your perfect job. Good luck!
Yep! So many factors and calculations went into my decision to reject the offer. It sucks but I have more interviews lined up.
Leave the company. You do not get a promotion and then a pay cut. Maybe before doing that, ask your boss the reason this happened and let them know how you feel.
These are two different organizations. Sorry that wasn’t more clear. My current job has zero growth opportunities and I was looking to leave and debating the new offer. I decided against it.
