How is the work life balance in Citi?
Here is the scenario: Have 2 offers from IT MNCs and 1 from Citi. Citi's offer is the highest. Almost 5 lakhs diff in the fixed component. Although money is important, but I am also seeking a little balance with life. I was previously in ZS Associates and to be frank, life was hell. I am not looking to relive that phase again.
What are the daily actual working hours?
Shall I join Citi or let go it for a lower package offer?

Getting that masters will not get you paid anymore. Consulting does pay more than advisory tho

From personal experience (campus recruit with a non MBA masters) the only thing that will change is that your starting pay will be about $2500 higher. Other than that no change. You still come in as a first year BTA

Agree w DD, in consulting the extra yr will not be valued. Consulting has a very formal path.. stay for a few yrs get your mba come back as sc. if you want to go consulting don’t waste your time in the extra year.

I got $3k more annual salary than someone straight out of undergrad when I joined Deloitte Consulting through campus recruiting with a master’s degree so you may get a small but mostly negligible bump

Actually not on the accounting side for Deloitte. On advisory side in cyber.
I started with my econ masters and got 100k all-in.
You get an extra $3k for a masters degree (non mba, one year program straight from undergrad) in consulting
Cyber is the only group in advisory that pays similar to consulting
Only if the masters comes with a certification (I.e. a CPA)
