Here’s a bad firm story, looking for others. Small firm (3 Associates and 1 Partner). Paralegal/Office Manager paid monthly bonus based on fees collected. Routinely instructed to burn through retainer so she could collect more fees. Prohibited from taking depos as the firm would not front money and clients couldn’t afford. Partner actively told Clients not to report cases to insurance (didn’t want to lose business), got yelled at for doing just that. Found out firm was not attorney owned.
