Does anyone have any ovulation trackers they recommend for PCOS? Curious to hear experiences with basal temp checks for ovulation, apps, etc. that people have used and found easy and successful.

Just here to vent that I feel severely disadvantaged for being a POC with partnership aspirations my firm. I've seen much younger white associates in my practice group get to go on client pitches, and as an nearly 7th year associate, I haven't been invited to go on a single one (even after voicing concerns about this to the partners in my group). I do great work, bill a lot of hours, and think I have a solid reputation but it's hard not to read the writing on the wall here. :(

Is it rude to set up some time with someone who's constantly mistakes your name? or is it not worth/kinda expected bc it's not the client?

 

Client X is paying us to work with Team Y. Manager Z on Team Y keeps calling me (analyst) the other analyst's name or anything else. It's been 6 months of almost daily check-ins with this person and I've tried everything from starting the meetings with "Hi, [John Doe] here" to turning camera on. The other analyst doesn't sound or look anything like me.

So funnily I have been hired by a big tech firm, and the MD who let me go at a big 4 consulting firm is the global lead of partner alliances for the same tech platform. Should I be happy at this irony or worried he will mess my career at my new workplace? Hesitating to update my LinkedIn profile for these reasons…

If I was doing GTM and S&O for Sales in Big Tech for years but wanted to pivot back to consulting (as an experienced hire but at a pretty high level) would that be possible? And what practices have you seen this happen in? Want to travel more, get more client facing experience, and work with different industries and consulting is the only industry that provides that variability
