[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?
These babies are keeping me going thru COVID

May be a HIPPA violation, also increases medical bills (since you'd need a note from Dr either way)

Those who say No or are bringing misplaced analogies forward:
Do you want to be responsible for other people’s deaths?
Or,
Do you want to die?
They were letting criminals (and child rapist takeshi69) out of jail so they don't catch Corona. Now we're going to put others in jail because they didn't pay a $500 fine for wearing a mask?
Are you certain that violent criminals are being let out?
No, we just need consistent public policy. Where I live they’re required indoors and usage is easily 95%+. I was just at a big box home improvement store with lots of people and saw a grand total of one person not wearing. At that point those that refuse to comply aren’t really worth the hassle.
Pretty sure that’s exactly what Dallas has rn. $500 fine
