Current non-SWE Googler in interviews for Partner role in MBB. I have previously worked at MBB at the Analyst level and disliked the “grind” / lack of autonomy in that role. Is it better at the Partner level? How much agency would I have over my schedule and what I decide to work on? What are the biggest challenges as a boomerang Partner?

Planning on attending Tuck ($40K) but recently admitted to CBS ($0). Goal is strat. consulting in NYC/NJ (MBB preferred but ok with T2). Feel like CBS is the obvious choice given the slightly higher chance of MBB NYC and NYC alum network, but Tuck is better fit socially (tight-knit community, smaller school, most folks new to Hanover) for an introvert looking to make circle of close friends. Unsure if a) I’m overthinking how to manage the social aspect of CBS

I did my undergraduate with Rotman, 2 YOE in Commercial/Corporate Banking after graduation, and working in Capital Market Team in B4 Consulting as an Experienced Associate. Now in order to break into MBB, I hope to plan ahead and I am working on case interviews. Are interviews for Corp Strat/bizops at FAANG harder or easier than interviews for MBB?

Has any of the MBB been doing much work in public sector since the onset of pandemic? Would they be willing to hire someone with exclusively public sector experience of +6 years and an MBA from Canada?

Asking because during the MBA recruitment, public sector experience was not helpful as MBB didn't focus there a lot.

Have an offer in NZ for 115 NZD plus 10% bonus. 3 YOE, no MBA. Not big4 or MBB, but in the analytics consulting function of another company. It feels a little low? Can I get more by moving to Sydney?

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's ALM in Management. They both have the same requirements (generally speaking) including a capstone course that serves as a field immersion course with the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?
