So I just had an on-site interview with multiple people and wanted to send thank you notes. I don't have all their contact information so I going to write one to the director and ask him to pass along my thanks to his interview team. How detailed should a thank you note be?

I put in my 2 weeks recently and my employer is asking me to stay an extra 11 days past my notice date so they have more time to find someone.. is this common? Boss is on vacation so i understand they won't have the whole team to interview folks, but wondering if anyone might have feedback on this.

Her current package is 2.5lpa from a small company (3yrs exp java spring boot) . She got offer from Accenture of 6lpa (fixed) . After this she had interview with cognizant and asked for package of 7 lpa. When she recieved the offer from cognizant it was of 10lpa fixed. Most interesting part after 2 weeks she got revised offer letter from cogni without any discussion of 16lpa with 1L joining bonus.

How can we analyse and suggest her regarding offer.

I would like to hear opinions. I got two interviews and 2 days after my last one on a Sunday I received an offer. I reviewed and counter-offered on Tuesday and I received an email on Thursday saying that they could give me what I asked and that they were going to send me a new offer that same day or the day after. A week has passed, I sent a politely follow up email and nothing. It’s that normal? What do you think?

In a large civil case, opposing counsel has engaged in what we contend is witness coaching during several depositions. We’ve met and conferred. I’ve been asked to draft a letter to the court (a Fed. D. Ct.) requesting an order on deposition conduct. I think we need to file a motion instead, but maybe I’m just not familiar with the practice of letter briefs requesting relief. This court/judge do not appear to have any local rules about accepting letter briefs… Any tips?

I literally just came back from the Visa restamping appointment to drop off my passport in São Paulo.

The secretary informed me that even though I am eligible for the interview waiver, they have no ETA as to when my passport will be returning to my residence in Brazil.
