I got into this business at 35, so you know where you can take these questions.
Me too! I got hired as a Jr. at age 35/36. Pushing Sr.-level now at 38

He? What year is it?
Questions like this are inherently ageist. There is definitely ageism in this industry, and that’s probably what your getting at here. But I’ve never seen the question posed and met with appropriate or accurate answers
You keep learning and adapting. I’m 60 and still keeping busy (freelancing). I’m willing to do Pharma and am making more than I have before. Depends on what you’re looking for. I was also never interested in being too far up the ladder.
ALSO—this past year’s been the best thing to happen to me. Routinely double, if not triple, dipping.
You should expect to bail when you no longer look cool to young people. I don’t think it’s more complicated than that. As you advance in your career, a gap will be created as the folks closer in age to you are hired away to become leaders themselves. You’ll likely have to fill that gap with younger replacements. It will become harder to get top young talent to work for you, because you’ll have less in common. They’ll have different creative idols. You won’t look like who they want to be and more like the other overpaid leaders in your agency. So you’ll have to settle for less out of your team, unless you do all the work yourself. And some do. But that’s not sustainable. Same thing happens with clients. Remember that mid-level marketing manager you did that career-defining work for? They’re now a CMO. And they’ve delegated getting the work done to a younger marketing team with younger perspectives and tastes who want to make their own mark. Can you win them over? Maybe. Is that ageism? By definition, yes. But you can beat it if you can stay connected to the kids. And many do. But most of us…

If you can accurately predict the long term trajectory of your relevance, interest, the market's whims, your physical and mental health, the evolution of the industry, and your luck, you can work forever and also you are a very powerful wizard.
I think it depends on the account you’re working on. And honestly, not all creative lies in advertising - one can also work on the client side which could prove a bit of longevity. Lots of corps are building solid in-house depts and have been pretty great work.

Oh the Botox!!! Definitely my best career secret weapon. Fixes the RBF.
It all depends on how long they can avoid the mutiny. And there’s always the risk that if they lash them self to the mast, they go down with the ship. Then there’s the dubious quality of the treasure map. Then there’s the risk that everyone steals your booty. And let’s not forget the eye patch.
