Upcoming M interview - if I use a common framework like Victor Cheng’s Customer, Competition, Company, Product - will that be counted against me if it fits the problem at hand? Are there points awarded for creativity in framework / taken away due to lack of?

I just had my final round of interviews on Friday and I’m just curious how long is an appropriate amount of time for a response back? I understand it depends and I know I’m anxious but assuming they are putting an offer together how long should it reasonably take?

Months in resume or just years on resume?

I have a dilemma. I lead a recruiting team in a consulting group and we are having trouble meeting our numbers. We are under pressure to deliver and we have been working together to make our numbers grow. Today I find out that one of the recruiters went to HR to say I have been pressuring them too much. I have a lead on my team who I discussed this with who doesn’t think there has been pressure at all. Suggestions ? I don’t know who the person is.

I’ve heard that recruiters prefer one page resumes over two page, but how do you fit everything on one page if you have over 10 years experience and worked at more than a handful of companies? I’ve seen people squeeze things into one page with 10pt font and barely any blank space..is that preferred over two pages?! Lol

McKinsey/BCG folks - work wise, have heard a few times that the most apparent difference with both firms is the management style. Mck adopts a more top-down approach whilst BCG a bottom-up. Would you say this is true? Would love to hear your stories too!
