TLDR: Thoughts on FHA loan for purchase transition into rental property after 1 year? I plan on buying a condo Q1 2021. My SO and I currently rent so it’ll be our first home. My goal is to get this via a FHA loan, live there a few years then rent it out when we upgrade to our second house (which I think will be a house, not condo). We have enough for the 20% down but I want to take advantage of the FHA loan so that we have enough cash for our second place one year after living in the condo

Anyone have experience working for a firm that has PE backing?

The position and offer appeal to me as it allows me to get a very specific type of experience on my resume I'm not necessarily getting at my current role. However, I'm concerned as the PE backs another somewhat similar firm they will try to merge both firms in the future and get rid of redundancy in the name of synergy.
