Sometimes when I see my high school peers post videos of their hotel room on social media, I have to catch myself thinking, “wow not even a suite.”

Any tips on alt travel? Specifically wrt affordable lodging? I want to maximize my travel and minimize the points/money I spend.

FYI - Amex Platinum travel credit works for trips booked through their travel portal. I booked an American flight through it last week and it got reimbursed today. Much better than spending the credit on 500 mile upgrades.

Do people ever get caught lying about hours? I can see other associates hours, and there is one person who gets online at 10 and off by 4 but still some how manages to put 10 hrs down of billables.
