I'm interviewing with KKR for a Principal role in their real estate group. All online salary resources are all in alignment with a total comp of $200k+. I'm assuming based on the average salary reported across these portals for principal that those figures apply to the RE group as well. Anyone have any direct knowledge or can speak to that group's comp?
Does anyone know if principals are in cubicles or doe they get an office?
I have a team member who historically under performs. He’s very receptive to feedback, and there’s usually a spark in his output and contributions every time I give it- but about a month later we’re back to where we started. Team members often complain about working with him. (Doesn’t follow thru, condescending tones w/ others).
Been with us for 9 months, Earlier this year gave verbal and email feedback, now we’re on a 30 day performance review/plan.
How do you decide when 2move them along?

Tata Consultancy Posting behalf of one friend:
If a company(X) is moving some of its permanent employees to another company Y as a part of contract then
1)how company Y will provide salary offers to these moved employees(will it be less, more or same as company X).
2) if company Y is TCS in this scenario, how it'll be in TCS.
( the contract b/w them is Y needs to provide support to few applications of X and the X employees currently supporting these apps will be moved to Y as permanent employees of Y ).
Have a problem
My earlier DOJ was recorded 4th april by mistake in TCS but my lwd is 8th April.
I was trying to contact onboarding managers and recruiters but I think they are dead cause they are not responding.
Ever since my DOJ is showing 4th April on iBegin portal and getting automated mails regarding Onboarding,Document Verification and Ultimatix.
What should I consider?
Would I be not onboarded now or TCS has dropped my candidature?
Need help asap from anyone in Tata Consultancy

Currently working in Oracle PL/SQL with 5yoe 18 LPA salary, I switched after 4 years , I know reporting tools(BI publisher and tableau) and ETL (informatica and ODI) . I liked the work I did in my first company it involved a lot of coding in PLSQL but in my second company it's data warehousing and boring work. Should I switch tech stack and move to Java + plsql(combo seems to have good demand)or should I just switch company with same tech . I like problem solving and also which side pays better
