Urgent help! I didn’t work on R before, just basic knowledge. Now the company I’m interviewing for asked me to solve a supply chain optimisation case study on R and make a presentation. Any leads on how can I learn R by this weekend?

BAH1 - that would mean I got hired. Call that a win.

Cran is your friend - https://cran.r-project.org There are tons of packages (r code written) to download. Random forest for variable selection, neural networks, SVM, etc... for optimization. You have many choices. Did they give you a dataset ? Or ask you to use a public dataset ?

R as in the statistical programming language? If yes then download R, RStudio and to get started type in swirl() and run that line of code. It will walk you through all the basic syntax and most common functions like for loops if statements, data frames etc.

Also download R for dummies PDF and let google be your friend. R programming is also logic.

Need to give notice to my firm tomorrow. Feeling overcome with emotion (guilt, nostalgia, excitement and trepidation). I don't think it will go well because it's a small firm, and I am very close to the partners, but need to move on to achieve career goals (and maintain sanity--I have a great relationship with my colleagues but there is a toxic culture).
