I got an offer from KPMG India with 13 years of experience for Assistant Manager role. My salary in TCS is very less but KPMG offered me 14 lac fixed plus 2.5 lac as performance linked bonus. Should I take this offer?does KPMG pay this bonus?
How is the work environment in KPMG as this is a big 4
I am a Business analyst in BFSI domain and also PMP, PSM and AWS certified. They are saying my salary in my previous company is very less -9.5 CTC and they are giving good hike from there even though i have 13 years of experience.

I was at 16LPA and I got an offer at 24LPA. Deloitte negotiated and promised to give me 22.5LPA. I agreed to stay back.
Mistake 1- didn't ask them to provide this in written.
They gave me 19LPA. I questioned but they just minced words. Around an year later, I got another offer. Didn't bother negotiating. Moved to another firm at 40LPA.
Which firm did you move to for 40LPA? And was it Excel, SQL, Tableau kinda tech stack or ML, DL, R, Python
Ever heard the line, " kasme vaade pyar vafa, baate hai baato ka kya".
If they are willing to give it in writing then fine, otherwise, raat gayi baat gayi.
A communication from partner suggesting those promotions are coming. Otherwise it is just a retention gimmick.
Even sometimes written don't work, refuse it, they will match it, otherwise move on.
Don't let them fool you. You can always come back? I have been in the same situation and decided to stay, seems like a big mistake now. 🥲👍

As an ex Deloitte lead(was there for 8 years), i can assure you that they won't give you back to back promotions.
If they can match your current offer immediately, consider it. If it's a blind promise don't.
They might even offer you a bonus of 1 to 2L. Don't fall for it. It doesn't get added to your yearly ctc and you'll lose out
If you've got a good offer leave. If you enjoy Deloitte, come back in a few years but surely leave now
Ask them to provide these term over mail only no verbal discussion

Nothing's true in corporate until u have it in written
A projected designation change offer can be provided by the HR. You can ask for that if they are so sure
Ask them to send that same officially in mail and then you will take back papers
Do not trust HR people especially in big4s. If they are ready to commit such an increament in writing then its good otherwise move on brother.
Never trust Deloitte.
Well i had the same situation in EY..No one gives a concrete answer or in written..i ll suggest switch without giving any second thoughts
Lots of instances where they don't honour the commitment , citing various reasons.
By shifting , you get higher in-hand today, plus future increments , jumps will always be on this higher number. 2 saal kisne dekhe hai ... Maybe, in this great resignation , the partner moves out of Deloitte.
Take the higher package, if job role is good. If you shifting only for the money (ie new job is not very lucrative ) only then stay back , but get the committed promotion / hike in writing.

The decision is on you. The best way that woul help you make the decision is to go over the question that why did you resign? If money was the reason then
chances of what will happen in future is very uncertain.
And there should be a very strong reason for you to get retained in Deloitte ( believing that they are solving all the problems u had with the current role).
And also check If the other opportunity doesn't look as promising as Deloitte in terms of growth, learning, WLB or any other factor important to you.
