Hello Everyone, I have recently cleared interview rounds of American Express for the position of Engineer and now salary discussion is going to be scheduled next week. How is American express as an organisation in terms of growth, wlb, job security and tech. How much should I ask them Yoe : 7 tech: Java8, Springboot, Microservices, Reacjs

I have been interviewing at Tavisca for a month long, thanks to there recruiter, already tole my expectation upfront, Now after all the tech rounds, HR round happened and told again my expectation INR X lpa Hr was like ok, will go ahead, now after someday, he says that we dont have budget and cannot go further. Then I told them I already hold an offer and will share which is INR X+ lpa
After trying for few more days finally they told that they can offer INR (X-10) lpa, Looked like a joke to me

XYZ abhi se rang dikha rhi hai, imagine what they will do to your WLB after you join them and moreover it tells about their work ethics.
Dont worry, keep your calm. If you can crack XYZ, im sure you can crack other interviews as well.
You aare on notice period so more companies will try to give your opportunity for interview. Try harder, you will get some other offer as well. If you dont get it just take your papers back 1-2 weeks before your LWD..Tell some sad story at your current company :)
If I take back my papers it will definitely impact other offers on the joining date.
Wait till last day ,if you get other offer don't join xyz . Anyhow xyz doesn't seems a good company.

I personally do not have a good feeling about this XYZ company.
If I were at your place I would try for more offers and interviews. Worst case scenario if there are no other offers, Remember there is always an option to take papers back.

Red flag about xyz company
This is a serious red flag that the XYZ company is not employee centric.
It would be helpful for your peers if you could share the name of the company so that they make an informed decision, if it ever comes to it.
