Hi fishes,I have around 5.2 yrs of hands on exp in data engg. and able to clear service based companies interviews easily. Now I want to switch to product based companies as I am looking for some good work, good salary but I am not really strong in dsa as it's not part of my daily work.I don't really use trees and graphs as part of my daily work.
How shall I switch to product based companies considering DSA is their 1st round itself.what level of DSA can I expect from companies for data engineer position?

Yes do it, shit that sounds awesome, pick up a bride along the way haha
Absolutely. So jealous. Enjoy Europe for me !
How did you get the Europe offer? Are you post mba? Do they sponsor the European visa?
Dual citizen
I'm just coming back from two years abroad with no issues. I applied to a number of roles. Most considered my time abroad value adding and not value detracting.
Out of curiosity, you say, "most"...did anybody consider it detracting?
No
Why not?
Of course
If you have uk citizenship, it is much easier to get Oliver Wyman/other offers in the UK (versus the US). Just FYI.
Thanks for posting this OP hope to be in a similar boat
Yes, absolutely yes.. enjoy Europe on behalf of us all ;)
I just left a non-US Bain office and will be joining industry shortly in the US. I don’t even have a US citizenship. One more data point 👍🏼
What country if you don’t mind disclosing? I’ve been trying to get into🇨🇭 forever with no luck on visa sponsorship
Cant disclose the country but dual citizen here so no issues with visa.
Why wouldn’t you be able to? You’re a US citizen. A lot of places really value international experience. GO FOR IT!!!
Do it
I certainly hope so. I did this and am still in Europe. Planning to return to US 2021.
Easily
Of course! Flipping the question. Why wouldn't you be able to? HR for companies in the US are always looking for US citizens. Enjoy! Super jelly, lol.
Huh, in contrast to everyone else in this conversation, I'm finding it next to impossible to co-ordinate a recruitment process while abroad. It has become clear that I need to quit the role here before finding the next thing back home.
