US: Thoughts on utilization %’s by staff level? They seem hefty.

Hi sharks.. new to gds. where to check for my utilization? I have been charging to CT charge code for almost a month.

Which company offers better WLB: Workday or Collaborative? Particularly for integrations medium enterprise practice

My research so far says Workday WLB depends on your manager but you will work 100% billable utilization rate at least. Collaborative you will always meet your billable target and have a great WLB

Any other mentoring programs out there y’all recommend other than ACP? Really enjoyed ACP and my mentor but unfortunately I’m disqualified for a second round because I’ve already utilized the service.

Is anyone still killing themselves trying to hit utilization or have people just given up? So many people I have spoken with aren't going to hit utilization. And most of those people have said f it.

Btw: coaches and managers are being told if you don't hit utilization you will not be promoted this year and will likely not get AIP.

Any utilization review nurses working at an insurance company able to share if your company requires work on weekend/holidays? If so, what work do you do on weekend/holidays snd do you work s full day on those days?

What are expected utilization goal at each level ? I have been at two levels in deloitte and I saw

Consultant: 95%
Senior Consultant: 90%

Are there any firms out there that actually let you take all your PTO? I hate that we have to make up our PTO to meet utilization targets. Been on a capped 40-hour project for the last two years and it’s had a terrible effect on my utilization.

Currently, everyone from staff to senior manager has a set goal of 90%.

I wish admin utilized Tier 1 supports with teachers. Smiles, appreciations and acknowledging ones efforts would do a great deal to boost morale and climate. I just don’t understand what that is so hard to do.

I’m a lead data engineer in IT consulting with 4 YOE with advanced certs in Snowflake & Azure. Is $155k base high or low? Most utilized & internally involved at my level.

Hadn’t noticed this sub before, and most of the threads are old so thought I’d ask a follow up - how has everyone been handling parenting with public accounting? I’ve got a toddler and my wife is an accountant (industry), and we only have a few immediate family in the country- but they have health concerns. Busy season was rough, things are looking better now as things return to normal. Still working crazy hours if you count the daycare duties on top of utilization targets.

so i want to break into the automotive industry. not exactly sure where to start. i am still fairly young (26) and been at my job for 5 years now. It seems administration all around the country thinks they can go ahead and behave as if nobody else matters in a school district! Their hypocrisy is an embarrassment and their self-management BS needs to stop! The unions aren't doing anything about it mine believe my administration before me even! We're greater in number and we need to stop the bullying and harassment directed at teachers and students!
