I’ve been sitting on about $200k cash for a couple years, waiting for a good opportunity that hasn’t come and not sure if I’ll buy a house in the near future. In case anyone would like to spare themselves a heart attack stroke and possibly spreading Covid to a large group of people as you run around screaming for help. If you child goes missing and doesn’t respond to you calling her name despite screaming it at the top of your lungs 50 times check under the blankets her room. She could be a very sound sleeper and entirely huddled under the blanket on the floor. Also don’t trust your 12 year old to check under the blanket either before calling 911.

I got one of those Doppler things and now I’m all freaked out because I used it once and it was great heard the heartbeat and it was amazing. A week goes by and I tried for a second time today and can’t for the life of me find this little guy and now I’m all paranoid. I used the Doppler for 20 minutes total this evening - approx. 5-7 minutes each time trying to find him. I also just learned that using Dopplers longer than a few minutes or often can be bad for baby so stopped- very concerned 😔

Been looking into purchasing tBills on treasury direct. Near as I can tell they would currently pay ~3% for a 52 week term which is roughly .5 to 1 % more than a cd for equivalent term. So…why isn’t everyone buying these instead or CDs or Hysa? What am I missing?
