USCIS set itself a 6 month goal to process 140/485 each. Has anyone noticed things speeding up? Mine was filed concurrently in March this year and wondering if I can expect my GC this year or wait until next year. For context, Deloitte filed my EB1C based on a previously filed EB2 application (approved 140). I cannot expedite my new 140 under premium since it’s EB1C

I’m counting on it. LOL

Were you were you a manager or equivalent at an international office or there is a way around to upgrade eb2 to eb1c? Also, do you need to be on L1A to file EB1C?

like

D2 - you don’t need to be on L1A but then you will have to submit a lot many documents proving you were a manager/executive while outside US.

I filed in May 2021 and still just got biometric ...

Were you a people manager outside the US? If yes, did you have direct reports in the country where you were based, or were they all in the US?

I have been considering going back to school but I left active duty 15 years ago and my Post 9/11 expired this summer.

Either way, I'm curious if anyone would know why I only received 25 months of education benefits. I was 100% active for 4 years, 3 deployments to Iraq, honorable discharge etc. And wondering if there is any way to extend my benefits and get the 36-48 months that seems to be standard.

Discovered major pay difference between myself and two new male hires with equal experience. Asked for a raise and was shot down due to Covid and essentially told they make more (were talking a 30k) bc they don’t have my “other responsibilities” aKa my two kids. I know my productivity is effected by parental responsibility but I don’t feel that alone justifies the difference. I know our billable output isn’t drastically different. Not sure what my next steps should be and welcome any advice.

I know that it likely “depends” and varies from firm to firm but does anyone have any insight on (or experience with) whether firms rely on “total billable hours” or “total billable hours credit” to determine whether hours have been met/bonus applies?
