By login logout do you mean swiping badge in and out of the building?

C2: The only worry I have is I unnecessarily lied not knowing that I have my home location listed in my I-129 and now that I committed I usually go to work, they’re asking for my building login/logout timings for the past one month. Have to see what happens. This is a very painful situation, I’m worried that they could issue a NOIR.

OP, wish you luck buddy. These unnecessary hassles create so much tension. Hoping you get this all sorted .

I answered that I usually work from office but today is one off situation, then the official said that she’ll send email with a set of questions for me and my company to respond. She mentioned that USCIS would need login/logout information for past one week which I don’t have. Does anyone encountered similar situation and how much time does it take for USCIS to send that email? Please share Any experiences that you had!

I had a similar experience but thankfully I was just 1 block away so I walked in and met the officer. I was given 6 questions to respond and a similar one for the petitioner. Visit happened on Monday and deadline was same week friday. Once the response went to the officers email the administrative visit was closed.

HCLT1: Were you asked to respond to those questions via. email? Can you please share what I those 6 questions were?

A1: I think that is what they meant. Unfortunately I don’t have any login times as I was working from home and due to some panicky situation I kinda lied ☹️

You are fine working from home if it is within the same MSA as your office.

I'll need an email address... I send the whole conversation which I recorded in an excel... techie as usual..

burnersfmc@gmail.com

Could you send me also please.....fishbowl1324@gmail.com thanks buddy!

Generally asking, is wfh an issue if you are in the same city as the office? My company allows wfh and travel is minimum. I am wfh 90% of the time.

Make sure you inform this to your immigration team and get clearance

What location and office op? This sucks. are they really increasing site visits?

OP- which company do you work with?

OP - as long as your home is within the county of your office location you should be fine.

EY1: They ramped up their visits three times compared to 2017

EY2: DD

Hey everyone! Anybody working in AWS or have recently applied? I have an interview coming up for a Senior Client Lead Recruiter position. I’d like to get any insights on the position, interview process and the Total Compensation please? The levels online don’t seem to match, maybe that is not accurate for Canada? The recruiter mentioned somewhere around 80k TC already and it seems kind of low?

I have awesome creative work from a client that has fallen into scandal. Specifically, they were a recently acquired beverage company who’s CEO was in a sexual scandal and then the company went into layoffs and rushed get more investor money to try to salvage the business. Needless to say, it didn’t work but the brand got sold to some super conglomerate. All this to say, do I put the good work in my portfolio? Do I keep it password protected? What would you do?

Is it just me or do I feel that brand-level consulting (e.g., product strategy) is more interesting, on balance, than management consulting? But it seems like the market rates for these kind of projects are lower than MC projects. Does MBB play in this product strategy space, or is it mostly other boutiques and ZS/LEK? Book recommendation - "Ride of a lifetime" by Robert Iger. Story of someone who started as a studio operator and went on to become the CEO of Walt Disney. Really relatable to most of us who are employees and not entrepreneurs. Books on Steve Jobs, Elon Musk are all good but I loved Robert's story more as I could relate and aspire. How he takes tough decisions, how he negotiated with Steve Jobs to acquire Pixar, his honesty, humility etc. are all something we can learn from. Go for it fishes 😄

Roth vs Traditional 401k . I have been maximizing only traditional 401k past 2 years and I’m in a 24% bracket. Can lowering a tax bracket like 12% tax range in future could be an option to effectively handle 401k withdrawals? Also, would like to know about withdraws if I move back to home country and hold 401k until 60 yrs of age. Trying to figure out if I need to switch to Roth 401k now. Thinking lower tax bracket in future could be working for <= 30k/yr with solid savings for atleast 2 years
