Hi! Recently discussed an associate graphic designer role with a recruiter. Is it reasonable to expect an 85k base in NYC? Am I underselling myself? They started with it being a 75-80k budgeted position. What are typical base salaries for someone with 4.5 ttl YOE? Does it matter that 3 YOE was in an adjacent industry?

I recently had the interview with KPIT for Data Scientist position. I have cracked multiple rounds and had salary discussion with HR. Everything was good and HR was ok to release the offer. She sent the offer for management approval. But after 2 days the HR replied to me saying the position was went on hold and then can not release the offer. What went wrong here ?

Hi a friend of mine has an offer from HCL for the role of Senior Manager Operations KYC/AML. they are offering him a 15% hike, which does not seem fair as he was expecting a minimum 30% hike given he is from a premier b-school and has over 7 years of work ex. Any idea how much HCL pays at this level?
