I have taken tests, interviews with director and MD for more than 3 months now and two weeks ago things seemed like it was moving forward when discussed about salary and now no news after following up 3 times now… is this normal?

I’m British, but left for the US in 2015 initially for a secondment but ended up staying. Dearly miss home, but with Brexit and shrinking of an already small market size, it’s unattractive from a professional stand point.

I could stomach a salary cut if I returned to the UK, but it seems like such a struggle unless you’re earning £250k+ HHI. Maybe it’s just a London thing. Maybe I’m too pessimistic.
