10 weeks pregnant here and just have a OBGYN doc but reading so many positive reviews for when women also have a midwife. Nobody around me had a midwife and I am not sure how can I find one for myself. I want to be going to my OBGYN for ultrasounds etc and plan for a hospital birth but don’t understand how the midwife is going to fit in the picture. My youngest child has a genetic disorder that requires an MRI every 6 months until he is a teenager than every year from teen to adult (he is 3). Trying to see what is out there, currently my deductible is $3,800, coinsurance 20%, and out of pocket $6,650.
