Sheesh, just cuz you build it fast doesn’t mean it will work or people will like it… sounds like people need to open up and read the first five pages of nearly any book on good product management 😂

Hmmm. User interviews should be an SOP, and that being said, maybe a refresher of best practices via workshop could be a good solution. Crazy that people don't want to follow product best practices...especially something like this. Hope things look up!

LOOOLLL welcome to my life, where I have to constantly justify the role of research. All I can do is commiserate haha. No one will care until some major product complaint comes in and you'll be like "weeelll if we'd done some user interviews we would've caught that......"

Omg

What do they mean by reverting to product build process? Rather strange thing to say... wonder what process in their mind should be happening instead.

I would ask them!

How many interviews did you go on before getting an offer? I have interviewed with 4 companies since October and was passed up on all of them.
