I am having issues with both step 1. I have a valid i140 do I need to share that detail , 2. When I use my Past login id the page isn’t letting me look at appointment, does anyone know how to pay the fees to get the appointment
Yeah the process is the same and I just went through it. One correction - before your step 2 of taking appointment, you need to pay the visa fees. You can’t get Dropbox appointment before you pay the visa fees. Also, you don’t need to specify anything about your I140 in your application. That was just used by your law firm to get your visa renewal. It isn’t needed for stamping, so no need to mention that anywhere. In fact, they don’t even ask for that. About the login - I had also forgotten my past login details so I just created a new one and it was fine. The fees - you will get detailed instructions once you start your DS160 application. Start that first and all instructions are included on the website.
After you complete DS160 you need to pay the fees before you book appointment. There is a section on your Home Screen that takes you to the “pay fees” section. I think you can do NEFT or IMPS although I just request my parents to walk to their nearby Axis bank and pay the fees. About 24 hours after the fees is paid, you can proceed to book appointment.
No but you have to update your information with the new DS160 number you just created. So no need to create a new profile but need to update your profile
