Second data science. R, Python, SQL. Google “data science”. Note that Google is a consultant’s best friend.

Cloud architecture would also be a good play - look at AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. Some of the introductory courses / certifications are pretty straightforward.

If you don’t have a computer science background, I’d lean away from “programming” from a consulting standpoint. There are plenty of consultants that work with engineers (that’s what “programmers” call themselves these days) without writing a heavy dose of code.

Not really sure where to begin. So far, I've come up with Cyber Sec, Cloud, and Programming. Recommendations on directions the industry is focusing on? I have this weird assumption that all programmers are like "Rain Man" (no offense intended, just a joke lol).

Producer friends who hire editors / deal with budgets: I’m a freelance editor currently charging 1200 / day (base before OT). I get this rate fairly consistently but do have some clients and projects that can’t afford this and if I love the project I will sometimes work for less. I thought this seemed pretty reasonable based on my experience (senior level). But I just heard of another editor charging $1500-$2000 a day. Is this a sustainable? Am I vastly under-charging? Or are they full of it? 🤯

HYSA: $35K
Brokerage: $8K
Retirement: $70K

Kinda late to the game on investing due to lack of knowledge and paying off student loans. No debt, pay off cc every month. Own a home, so have mortgage. Should I use the money I put into an HYSA and go direct to my brokerage? I tend to be conservative that’s why I like more cash

What a Senior Advisory Solutions Consultant do at ServiceNow?

A recruiter reached out via LinkedIn and from a brief chat I understood it to be a pre-sales, client facing role with senior stakeholder interaction across clients, partners (Accenture, Deloitte and the like) and ServiceNow techies (architects, engineeers).

Would that be a fair interpreation - cos if so, I'm quite interested.

Hey reservists and NG who may be struggling with PT due to demanding schedule.

If you are looking to make a change to increase your run score, especially if you are close to the limit, try the Nike Vapor Fly shoes.

Just tried them for the first time on a timed run and went from consistent 14:40s 1.5 miles (I’m old…sorry) and ran a 13:26 with fuel left in the tank.

Just wanted to send this out to anyone who may be on the fence with a time this PRT/ACFT season.

Can anyone share their experience and tell me what that “incline” means? Retail Operations getting hit. I wonder if this opening will still be available. If so, I got an offer later. Will this be a hire to fire case?
