the canooing by the bridge was so much fun viewing the city. The barbecue from terry black was amazing and the strip where austin motel was super chill and shopping friendly

See the bats one night. :-)

If you’re going over the weekend, Mueller has a cool farmers market until noon! It’s right by a big park with a lake in the middle, playground & walking trail for kiddos to run around at.

Auditorium Shores by Lady Bird Lake is a beautiful area to spend a sunny day. The Greenbelt is a cool place to hike but might be a little difficult for young kids. Mount Bonnell and Zilker Park are classics and family-friendly. Highly recommend Jeni’s Ice Cream and Little Deli & Pizzeria. I also echo canoeing and the farmers market.

The amount of people, even attorneys, who can't separate out the policy merits of abortion from the issue of whether it is a constitutional right is disappointing. I consider myself pro-choice ---I believe states should allow it, that the federal government can pass a statute to guarantee it, and that FDA statutes and regulations will preempt any state trying to ban chemical abortions through FDA approved drugs. Dobbs at its core is a case about the Due Process Clause, not the policy of abortion

My practice got super busy after the pandemic. I have had a waitlist and been incredibly busy. It’s been stressful, but I have been grateful for business & to be helping people through a crazy time. Booked a twelve day trip to Lebanon/Jordan. I’ll be traveling solo as a black woman. Would love any insight anyone may have about that. I’ve traveled to all six continents so very familiar with nuances of race in different places. Just looking for advice on Lebanon and Jordan in particular. Also, any tips for the best way to split the time? Here’s what I’m thinking so far:
