Visiting some college friends in Chicago this weekend. Any recommendations for good/fun bars and restaurants for people in early 20s? Any labor day weekend events going on? Also, is the mask mandate stringent? If it is, outdoor bars/restaurants/events preferred

Literally Wells Street bars (Old Town Pourhouse, The Vig, Benchmark, 80 Proof) are classics for going out at night, Division St bars (Hopsmith, Shenanigans, The Lodge) are good for outdoors and day drinking or late nights as well. Mask mandate does not exist when you’re inside bars they don’t GAF

OP, crime is no joke in the city, so try not to wander alone especially if drinking and at night

River north is generally safe (even at night). I would avoid most spots on Hubbard, near state/grand redline stop, and Michigan Ave as that is where the crime tends to occur.

Just go to River North and walk up and down the streets… Literally numerous places, great restaurants, and the mask mandate isn’t bad. Just walk in with your mask on then take it off at the bar/table.

So I had a couple panic attacks and stopped smoking weed as I was worried about my heart/racing/pains and was having anxiety about that. It’s been a month now not smoking and I’ve had more panic attacks and my resting heart rate is up almost 10bpm. I also ruled out any medical heart issues with my doc. I guess my question is... how can I manage my anxiety without medication when I was clearly self medicating with weed before? Im trying to get pregnant so pharmaceuticals are not really an answer

Does anyone know of an online fitness / nutrition program (ideally targeted at women) that is specifically geared to the 100% travel lifestyle? I just started a new job that requires constant travel to different places every week and often involves full day-long meetings and “wining and dining”dinners at indulgent restaurants. I just feel like I need some guidance and support for getting back in shape as someone who was accustomed to working out 5x a week and eating home cooked meals.

Hi everyone, I left Amazon 2 months back. But I feel like the new company I've joined isn't great in terms of people and work culture. Things are little difficult for me here in the new company.

One of my old friend at Amazon told me that Amazon have this Boomerang policy where they re-hire people directly if they are interested in rejoining in 6 months from the date of resignation.

Is it true? Kindly let me to know how it works.
