I’ve been a paralegal since I graduated five years ago. I absolutely cannot take it anymore. I’m tired of my time being wasted in jobs that use me at admin. I have worked on contracts in Capital markets for IB and now work on general commercial matters but I can’t be in what a colleague referred to as the just the tip equivalent of the Legal profession. My mental health has been a disaster since and I am desperate to leave but don’t know what to do.

An unforeseen side effect of working in a male-dominated industry: The vast majority of my friends are guys. As a woman, I find it difficult relating to other women nowadays.
