VTI. There is no need for VOO also. VOO is a subset of VTI

like

VTI but you can really buy either. In this bear market, they are also a great pair for doing tax lass harvesting.

smart

The correlation is nearly perfect. Even though VTI has more companies than VOO the results are 99% the same.

I am currently salaried at 45k a year and wondering if I am being overpaid or underpaid. I currently work as a human resource representative. I am the only rep for my company in all of tennessee and the branch I work at has around 800ish workers and only an hr specialist, hr rep (me), and a hr manager. All of the tasks that I cover are onboarding & off boarding, training & coaching, payroll, investigations, employee relations, disciplinary actions, and more. I only have 1 year experience in HR.

Male POC here. This may be a personality thing but I’ve had a hard time being myself/collegial with people of authority at work. Outside of work I’m social and outgoing and by no means am I a shy or quiet person even at work so I’ve been able to with those who initiate it or reciprocate, but not often. I feel like maybe my “formality” makes them less likely to act openly with me. Anyone else face this and how do you overcome it?

Last year I started a Roth IRA. However this year because of starting a new job I will be over the income limit and planned to do a backdoor Roth IRA. I also wanted to rollover my previous 401k funds into an IRA. Would the rollover funds be a part of the limit for the backdoor Roth? Should I open a separate Roth account for the rollover funds apart from the backdoor? I haven’t been able to find a clear answer online yet and would appreciate any insights!

General question: is there any certain “rule of thumb” post that you sell to take profiles? I’ve seen some experts (“”) say to always collect at 20% and others say until you see a reason to sell. Asking as rearranged last week and luckily got into the airlines before they exploded and now I’m sitting about 50% up on delta. And after selling Zoom way to early (used to buy my delta), I’m not sure whether to take the cash or let it ride more. This fast a rally makes me think it will plummet soon
