Male POC here. This may be a personality thing but I’ve had a hard time being myself/collegial with people of authority at work. Last year I started a Roth IRA. However this year because of starting a new job I will be over the income limit and planned to do a backdoor Roth IRA. I also wanted to rollover my previous 401k funds into an IRA. Would the rollover funds be a part of the limit for the backdoor Roth? Should I open a separate Roth account for the rollover funds apart from the backdoor? I haven’t been able to find a clear answer online yet and would appreciate any insights!

General question: is there any certain “rule of thumb” post that you sell to take profiles? I’ve seen some experts (“”) say to always collect at 20% and others say until you see a reason to sell. Not sure where else to post this. I’m trying to use my dependent care FSA for our nanny, who my wife has been paying. Just realized that her arrangement with the nanny is “under-the-table” which means the nanny does not pay taxes on the income. Can I still use my DC FSA funds?
