To those who have switched firms, how did it go?
OK. Good luck to you. I hope your personal situation favorably works out
Ty got it
You have a few months to use up the balance after your last day. I will call them up to make sure exactly how many months of weeks you get.
I would if I were you - not that I will haha
Thank you, PwC!
OP - do you have to leave? Can you take a leave of absence?
EY1, I could have. I have something lined up just in case, which offers much more money. I don’t need to start until I figure things out with my personal situation. That includes assessing how much extra $$$ I would need going forward.
Thanks, EY1.
Also OP you can ask them to transfer it to a transit card. They will they they can’t but they definitely can, just ask for a manager. I think you get like a month to use up the parking card but I believe you lose the transit card right away.
Wait a second, how’d you get the transit card from wage works?
AA1, I’ll see what I can do. EY2, you can get wagework credit card and use it on any public transportation you need.
Right but the credit card for transit expires the day you leave the firm. So you can ask them to buy you a transit card (in Boston I got a Charlie card) with your money so you don’t have to try to spend it all prior to leaving. Granted you now have a Charlie card with $400 bucks on it but hey you’ll eventually use it.
Thanks for the advice, AA1! I’ll defiantly ask.
Definitely. Phone is typing for me.
Ty! One more question- how do you get the credit card?
I found out where you get the cc - what’s the advantage of having this? Do you just load money from your paycheck and the money is pretaxed ?
EY2, you go to wageworks website and choose to upload to the card vs using it for specific bus line, train, etc.
The money are pre-tax.
